What are your Ear Threads made with?

All of my handcrafted ear threads are made with either Sterling Silver or 14K Gold Fill. Nothing is plated. In addition I only use real gemstones and pearls (unless otherwise indicated). All chain and components are manufactured either in the US or Italy.

How do you wear Ear Threads?

There is a solid bar on the end of the chain that you insert into your piercing. Simply pull it through (slowly and gently!), When the small loop has reached your piercing (about 1/2 way) you are set! The chain is very thin and comfortable and the Ear Threads are very lightweight and do not slide out of place. They are so versatile they match just about anything. They are small and lightweight but they have tons of presence - they swing and sparkle like nobody's business

Do you do custom orders?

Absolutely! Send me an email at ErinChristmanDesigns@gmail.com and we can discuss! You can also message me on my Instagram page, Erin Christman Designs.

What are the birthstone stones, months, and usual associated color?

January - Garnet (deep red)                         July - Ruby (red)

February - Amethyst (purple)                        August - Peridot (green)

March - Aquamarine (light blue)                   September - Sapphire (deep blue)

April - Diamond (white)                                 October - Opal or Tourmaline (pink)

May - Emerald (green)                                   November - Citrine or Topaz (yellow)

June - Moonstone, Pearl or Alexandrite      December - Tanzanite, Turquoise or Zircon (blue)

How should I store and clean my ear threads?

You should store your threads in your jewelry box or even a plastic bag. If they become tarnished or dull simply clean with a silver polishing cloth. Use caution if you use liquid silver cleaner, as this harsh cleaner can strip and dull the surface of pearls and gemstones.
